Speakable is a secure platform purpose-built for K–12 education. From the beginning, student data privacy and security have been at the core of our product design and operations. Our infrastructure and policies support compliance with key federal and state laws—including COPPA, FERPA, and SOPPA—so schools and districts can use Speakable with confidence.

Data privacy agreements

If you’re a teacher, school, district, or other educational organization using Speakable’s student-facing tools, your use of these tools is covered by our Student Data Privacy Addendum. If your organization prefers to sign a custom agreement instead, you can do so using one of the options below—either through the Student Data Privacy Consortium (SDPC) or by sending us your own DPA.
